WINDSOR: April 25, 2025 - From visiting the construction site of the highly anticipated Gordie Howe International Bridge to engaging in the critical process of voting on various resolutions, Rocio Salinas, the General Manager of our Chamber, played a pivotal role in representing the interests and voices of Norwich businesses at the recent Ontario Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting (AGM). This event brought together a diverse group of business leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the province, all gathered with the common goal of fostering economic growth and development within their communities.

During her visit to the construction site of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, Rocio had the opportunity to witness firsthand the significant progress being made on this monumental infrastructure project. The bridge, which will connect Windsor, Ontario, to Detroit, Michigan, is not just a vital transportation link; it is also expected to boost trade and commerce between Canada and the United States.

The AGM also provided Rocio with invaluable networking opportunities, allowing her to connect with other chamber leaders and business representatives from various sectors. These interactions fostered collaboration and the sharing of best practices, which are essential for driving innovation and growth.

Thank you to the Windsor Essex Chamber of Commerce, the Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Leamington Chamber for hosting this year’s event.
